License¶
Everything in the ECA Guide repository is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later), except the content listed under Third-party content. This covers the manual, the generated plugin reference, the model library, the agent skill, the MCP server, and the build scripts.
Copyright remains with the author of each contribution, together referred to as the ECA Guide contributors.
License grant¶
The ECA Guide is free software: you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation, either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.
The ECA Guide is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the GNU General Public License for more details.

Why GPL-2.0-or-later¶
The ECA Guide uses the license of the software it documents:
- ECA, Drupal, and the Workflow Modeler are licensed GPL-2.0-or-later, as described in Drupal licensing.
- The plugin reference is generated from ECA's source code.
- The recipes of the model library are published under the same license.
