ECA Field Widget Actions

Turns an ECA model into an action button on a field widget of an entity form. The contrib module Field Widget Actions renders the button and this module makes every model that uses the ECA Field Widget event available as one, so the behavior behind a button is a model instead of custom code. Typical uses are content suggestions, AI-powered field filling, data lookup, and any value that should be computed on demand.

The result of the model is either offered as a suggestion, which the user accepts in a dialog, or written into the field directly. Direct filling covers text and editor widgets, select lists, checkboxes and radio buttons, and compound fields such as Address or Link.

drush pm:install eca_field_widget_actions

Instead of using Drush to enable the module, you can also go to "Administration / Extend" (/admin/modules) and enable the module ECA Field Widget Actions from there.
